Training “Quantum Computing & Applications”

By utilizing quantum mechanics, quantum computers have the potential to revolutionize the way we solve complex problems. The fields of application are diverse, ranging from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to finance and logistics.

With Fraunhofer IKS's quantum computing training, which has already been conducted several times, you can explore the possibilities of this cutting-edge technology—tailored to your company's needs. In half-day modules covering topics such as the basics of quantum computing, applications, and post-quantum cryptography, we teach you the fundamentals, give you the opportunity to develop your own use cases, and provide specific recommendations for action.

Understanding and applying quantum computing: Your path to innovation

The training

  • enables you to assess the relevance of quantum computing for your company
  • helps you develop a forward-looking innovation strategy
  • enables you to engage in direct exchange with our scientists
  • triggers a creative process of idea generation that can better position your company beyond quantum computing
  • can be the starting point for more intensive collaboration, right through to solution prototypes.

In consultation with you, we tailor the modules so that you can get the maximum benefit from the training. Of course, we also take into account the level of knowledge of the participants – from IT specialists to PhD scientists, many have already benefited from the “Quantum Computing & Applications” training.

All modules at a glance

We coordinate the content of the training flexibly in advance. To this end, we conduct a short preliminary survey of potential participants in your company to find out about their interests, expectations, and prior knowledge. Following the workshop, we will also provide you with a collection of links containing further information, the set of slides with the content covered, and the material developed during the training. The individual modules last half a day and can be held flexibly at Fraunhofer IKS, at your location, or virtually if required.
